Roots rock/rhythm and blues/southern country rock – USA
USA act King Of The Tramps takes its name from the spirit of the golden days, when hobos and itinerants, roamed the country, in search of work, or some of them feeling the freedom of traveling.Also, group takes its name from a lesser known rail legend, Tex /King Of The Tramps.
During the period of exsistence, with actual one, a band has released four albums : “Good People” (2011.),”Wicked Mountain” (2013.), “Joyful Noise” (2014.), and “Cumplir con el Diablo.
Through 10 presented tracks, USA felows combines elements of modern roots rock, southern country rock, rhythm and blues, and many other similar elements in between, as well.They sounds as fresh and modern act under the mentioned genre’s options, and its songs are listenable too. Group also knows how to combine old shool tendencies with newer variants, and they did it with style and performing power. We can hear, here and there mostly equalizing materials, but I woud specially recomand a third track – “Nashville Line”.
King Of The Tramps su USA sastav, koji je “pozajmio” ime od legendarnog heroja železnice Texa, takođe asocirajući svojim nazivom na period lutanja divljim zapadom u potrazi za poslom, slavom, ili čisto traženjem nekog ličnog identiteta. Tokom perioda egzistiranja, ovaj kvartet je zajedno sa aktuelnim ukupno objavio 4 albumska izdanja : ” Good People” (2011.), “Wicked Mountain” (2013.), “Joyful Noise”(2014.) i “Cumplir con el Diablo”.
Kroz 10 ponuđenih pesama, pokazali su da znaju vešto da kombinuju elemente roots rocka, rhythm and bluesa i southern country rocka, kao i dosta toga što se u stilskom smislu nalazi između pomenutih elemenata. Zvuče sveže i moderno, a njihove pesme su takođe slušljive. Kombinuju old school sa novijm varijantom, tako da su pogodni za prihvatanje kako kod starije tako i mlađe populacije, koja je žanrovski okrenuta pomenutoj varijanti. Vrlo snažno i moćno interpretiraju vlastiti materijal, koji je na ovom albumu uglavnom ujednačen. Ipak, lično bih izdvojio treći song po redu, kao meni najintersantniji, a na CD-u i najubedjiviji – “Nashville Line”.
