Sonny Axell is a French born artist, and “Kickback” is his second effort. Through 9 presented tracks, he distribute music with evident funk/contemporary jazz traces, and what is also important ,of older late 70’/80’s school.

In some aspects he knows to remind on late Stevie Wonder, George Benson and Gino Vanneli as well. Strong so call orchestration follows his songs, as same as melodic and repeatable vocalization. Recommendable, especially for the followers of funk/jazzy/r’n’b tendencies of mentioned older school.
