Death/thrash metal – ITALY
Efyd are hailing from Italy, and the group works as a trio. Firstly , they have released a two EP’s from 2017 and 2018 year, and with 2 products introduced themselves to the wider worldwide underground audience.
In the late December 2021, they have released a full-length with 10 tracks in, for mighty “Metal Scrap Records”. Italians are on the field of death/thrash metal, I would add that they prefer old or older school of death and little less thrash metal. Their sound is brutal and at the same time clear, with enough aggressive elements, but also the group act as a coherent whole. Many traces in their sound leads to the period of late 80’s and the 90’s, but also, it’s hard to say that Italians didn’t accepts the standards of our time. So, they could be interesting equally to the older and newer followers of death/thrash tendencies.
Songs from the album know to be different among them. Some of them are bit louder, some are faster, and in some cases the vocal parts are more up, than instrumental works. I wouldn’t compare Italians with some other well-known act, and they have offered own musical views and visions ( not excluding certain visible influences ).
