Claire Luzi is an experienced musician, singer and performer on the mandolin, whose spheres of interest touch several areas of expression. In her approach, the influence of the French musical tradition is noticeable on the one hand, and on the other, perhaps to a slightly greater extent, the challenge and legacy of Brazilian popular culture.

In 2007 Claire met in Brazil the composer and guitarist Cristiano Nascimento and since then, they became life partners, and  duo has been fertile in songs and creations. Al of  five songs from the actual EP, were co-written by Cristiano and Claire. The songs are mostly about Claire’s thoughts, dreams and fantasies. One emotional and a harmonious combination of the influence of French music and Brazilian pop, as well as ethnic heritage, are present on the fully prepared material. While listening to the songs, you get the impression that you are on a romantic musical journey that starts in the 60s, and ends in the present time.
“Ce Corta-Jaca” is a very listenable performance, where you will never find less interesting details or moments.
