Dirty Talons is a sextet from Vienna, Austria. After two EPs and singles, they have released a full-length album with 12 tracks called „Deep Dive.“ The line-up consists of experienced musicians, fronted by female singer Jess.
Their debut album expressed the evident energy of band members and a desire for all things to be done in the wanted way. The presented songs are done in a rock/melodic hard rock manner, with also some punk energy and power pop tendencies. Many elements from the period of the 80s can be seen in their sound and music, but the group has caught the postulates of our time. The production is also done in a modern manner, so this is another positive segment in their approach. The songs are listenable, and also acceptable for the concert’s interpretations, and it seems that without much „wisdom „, the group manages to achieve with their songs a convincing effect.
Some of the listeners, as same as critics and other analyzers will say that even generally positive signature in a song’s realizations, the group uses a little more so-called retro or vintage influences, the main thing is that Dirty Talons perform their songs quite honestly, of course I add once again, with a strong energy charge.
