Eva Hillered is a Swedish, Grammy-nominated recording and touring artist in the Americana, folk, indie, and country realms. She has a respectable career, and believe it or not, 10 solo albums, 13 singles, and 2 EP’s. Also, she has collaborated with many known and lesser-known artists and toured around the world.

„Take Me Home“ is her fresh and new release, an album with 7 songs done in Americana, indie folk/folk rock mood, and some other genre variants in between. Most of the things from the album she did with their strength, and she had 3 producers on songs from the album. Her musical vision combines modern elements with older or vintage indie folk/Americana views, and the mentioned mix gives successful results.

The songs are listenable, full of emotional moments, and one evident energy. The songs from the album have a similar value, but I would add that, in my opinion, the song „Open It Up“ has personal sympathies.
