Blues – USA

Todd Partridge is a veteran who is in very good shape, as shown by his years of activity in King Of The Tramps, as well as the last few years of his solo career, with which he welcomed the release of his second album in the row. The title of album is “Desert Fox Blues”, and we can find  10 tracks in, done in blues manner, genre that was this artist’s first musical love, ever since he was 12 years old.

With a team of his colleagues and collaborators, experienced musicians, an album was recorded which to a large extent has the “taste” of older times, where raw and unpolished sound dominates from the first to last song. Listening to the prepared material, you always get the impression that you are thrown into a “smoky” club atmosphere, where the “naturalness” of the musicians, along with their experience and clear attitude, prove that you are in the right place. “Desert Fox Blues” is composed of raw material, but whose concept and approach, touches on several stylistic variants within the blues itself. Through all that Mr. Partridge managed to highlight a high degree of originality  and authenticity, which in any case represented a great challenge for him and team of collaborators. Good job, and an album that deserves all the recommendations.
