Austrian band Sergeant Steel started out its career in 2007. During the period of existence, with actual one, they have released 3 albums. Last one “Riders Of The Worm”, a group has released in the last period of 2015 year.
Austrians are on the field of melodic hard rock, with evident sleaze/glam variants includings in its musical and stylish options as well. All of the presented 13 songs are well-produced and technically released with professional standardization. There’s no doubt that members from the band had given a strong efforts, that all the things funcioning as well, with additions of well-done complete technical includings. In some moments they suffer from manneristical problems, but also they have found their own way to introduce themselves as a original act. “Riders Of The Worm” are consisting of listenable material, without weaker places, of course, if we judge songs according to stylish standardizations. Recommendable for the melodic hard rock/glam followers.
Počeci karijere austrijskog sastava Sergeant Steel datiraju od 2007-e godine. Tokom perioda delovanja uspeli su puno toga da urade, učvrste pozicije na nacionalnoj sceni, i da zajedno sa aktuelnim objave ukupno 3 albumska izdanja.
Muzički su na terenu melodic hard rocka, kojeg kombinuju sa glam/sleaze varijantama. Kompletan materijal od 13 prisutnih songova je tehnički urađen na maksimalno visokom nivou, u skladu sa standardima ovog vremena, i moderno postavljenom produkcijom. Manje-više sve funkcioniše po očekivanju, no treba dodati da na pojedinim mestima njihove pesme boluju of viška tkzv. manirističkih problema. Suviše su stilski definisani i njihove pesme su snimljene na “očekivan” način, tako da to zna da zasmeta. Ipak, potrudili su se da koliko je to moguće zazvuče kao originalan akt, i čini mi se da su bili uglavnom uspešni.
“Riders Of The Worm” je sačinjen od vrlo slušljivog materijala, koji će se naročito svideti melodic hard rock/glam fanovima.
