On Sunday September 24. on a rainy evening, I had the great pleasure of attending the performance of the Mexican quartet El Shirota in Belgrade’s “KC Grad”, organized by the tireless Aleksandar Delibašić’s “Bad Music For Bad People”. A real band and a real audience in one place, who knew what to expect from an event like this, which presented the main actors in the expected energetic and inspiring edition.

Žljeb je trio iz Bačke Palanke, koji je ovih dana objavio svoje prvo izdanje, a reč je o EP-u na kojem su se našle 4 instrumentalne numere, takođe dostupne i u video varijanti. Kompletan materijal trajanja nešto dužeg od 10 minuta je slušljiv i vidljiv preko “youtube”-a, a dostupan je i na drugim streming servisima.
Članovi postave su : bubnjar Radovan Rebić; gitarista Nukola Puđa, te klavijaturista Veljko Lukić. Nazivi numera kojima su se predstavili su sledeći : Worshipper, Frogger, Up And Above, i When Melodies Die.

It must be admitted that they have an interesting name, and the group comes from the known island of Crete, and the town of Rethymno. Ovih dana je u Novom Sadu održana promocija albuma sastava Prst U Oku And Friends, istoimenog naziva, inače njihovog trećeg po redu. Postava ove grupe sa razlogom je proširena što se članstva tiče, a koreni njihovog egzistiranja datiraju još iz prošlog veka, kada je sastav ono vreme u svom gradu i generalno Vojvodini imao veću i izraženiju prisutnost, pa i poznavanje javnosti muzike iza koje su stajali je bila izraženija na domaćem terenu, nego što je to bio slučaj u ostatku Srbije i ostatku nekad zajedničke države.
