“461 Ocean Boulevard” bio je drugi po redu solo album Erica Claptona, objavljen 1974-e godine, koji se u ono vreme smatrao na neki način njegovom blagom muzičkom prekretnicom, ali takođe i životnom, jer je realizovan nakon duže faze trajanja problema zavisnosti  (znate već koje ) . I u stilskom smislu ovaj album je bio naslonjen na više žanrovskih formi, pored bluesa, funk i soul su takođe imali zapaženu primenu, a nikako neću izostaviti reggae, jer legenda kaže da je brojna ostvrvska publika  onog vremena prvi put više obratila “pažnju” na Bob Marleya i njegov sastav Wailrers, iz razloga što je “slowhand” na ovaj album uvrstio song “I Shot The Sheriff”. Claptonova verzija bila je prihvatljiva i onoj publici čije slušalačko uho nije bilo toliko naviknuto na reggae sound, koji se postepeno sve više izvlačio sa Jamajke i širio ostatkom sveta, najpre Evropom, a prilično  kasnije je i Amerika prihvatila  muziku sa ovog egzotičnog i po život opasnog ostrva.

Tokom perioda od 6 godina, pevač, gitarista i autor Tijan Popović uspeo je da snimi, realizuje i objavi treći po redu album . Aktuelni nosi naziv “Pustinja crnog peska”, i ono što se da čuti putem deset priređenih pesama je da ovaj autor ne odstupa od svojih ideja, načina tretiranja pesama, te samog izvođačkog pristupa.
Tijan Popović je osoba koja je izražajno okrenuta tendencijama melodic rocka/melodic hard rocka, i kada govorimo o pomenutim žanrovskim formama, on ih doživljava, izvodi i interpretira na neki svoj način. Gotovo uvek u saradnji sa Srđanom Brankovićem, producentom materijala, koji je snimljen u njegovom dobro poznatom studiu “Paradox” u Smederevu. Srđan Branković je inače svirao solo gitaru i bas, a bubnjarsku pomoć, Tijan je imao u Marku Milojeviću, koji je na sebe preuzeo tu odgovornu ulogu.

Jedan od sastava koji je tokom perioda 70-tih bio spominjan unutar okruženja  nacionalne pub rock/country rock scene, a od kojeg se nešto više i očekivalo, bio je britanski – Meal Ticket.Počeli su početkom 70-tih godina svirajući po klubovima i pabovima, a važnu ulogu u postavi imao je Kanađanin Rick Jones, jedan od pevača i klavijaturista.Tokom nešto kraćeg perioda od jedne dekade, snimili su ukupno 3 albuma, a poslednji treći po redu iz 1978-e godine zvao se “Take Away”.
